The Da Vinci Science Center, Allentown, Pa., and the City of Allentown unveiled the city’s New Year’s Eve 2012 ceremonial bell during broadcasts of WFMZ 69 News on Wednesday, Dec. 28. The City of Allentown will lower the bell at midnight on New Year’s Eve during the opening of its year-long 250th Anniversary Celebration. Da Vinci Science Center CEO Troy A. Thrash explains in this segment how DSC professionals brought the bell to life with a little lighting help from Off-Grid Technologies, Bethlehem, Pa.
